In 2017 Portneuf Health Trust made space available in the building for a new and expanded Veterans Administration Outpatient Clinic, the first in the Intermountain West based on the Patient Aligned Care Team (PACT) concept, an approach to veteran healthcare based on whole-person, lifelong care.
The expanded facility serves more than 6,000 veterans in the area.
Portneuf Health Trust worked with local partners to obtain approvals from the Veterans Administration for the expanded clinic and paid architectural and engineering design fees to enable the new clinic to occupy its new home inside Bannock Campus.
